How will HOLA! Escuela handle sanitation and hygiene among children and staff?
To prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other communicable illnesses, we have been implementing the following:
Staff and students will be required to wear masks. If a student doesn't have a mask, one will be provided to them.
Daily health screen checks using brightwheel
Limiting classroom occupancy to half of our enrollment capacity.
Daily screening and evaluating of all staff, children, and essential visitors prior to them entering the classroom for the signs of illness or exhibiting a fever over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit., cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, or new loss of smell or taste;
Prohibiting unnecessary visitors;
Restricting tours to appointment only on dates when students are not present;
Providing access to hand sanitizer stations;
Enforcing frequent hand-washing throughout the day, and particularly before and after meals;
Instructors and staff will wipe down and sanitize all tables, chairs, door knobs, light switches, and high volume surface areas;
Sanitizing bathrooms and common areas throughout the day.
Our practices are informed by the CDC, Georgia Department of Health, and Bright from the Start. As additional guidance is made available, changes to our practices will be communicated to parents and students in a timely manner.
